“Dear PoPville,
I went to Afghan Grill for dinner in Woodley Park and the owner said they’re a few weeks from closing if their fortunes don’t improve. Apparently, convention goers at the Marriott Wardman Park accounted for 60% of their business, and they’re down over $200k in business as compared to a “normal”, pre-pandemic year.
Several other restaurants in Woodley Park have closed for the same reason, and I would hate for the Afghan Grill to meet the same fate.”
Check out and order from their menu here.
