7pm Shooting in Bloomingdale

Katie first reported around 7pm “shot fired in Bloomingdale (heard it loud and clear crossing 2nd St. NW on RI). Police and ambulance swarming from all directions.”

From MPD:

“Alert: Shooting Investigation in the 100 block of Florida Ave NW. Lookout for a B/M, 5’9″-6’0″, wearing a white shirt and blue jeans, last seen riding a red bike. DO NOT TAKE ACTION CALL 911 W/ EVENT # I20210232630″

“At approximately 6:50 pm, members of the Third District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.”
