Ed. Note: If this is you, please email [email protected] so I can put you in touch with OP. PoPville is not affiliated with either party, please proceed with any potential connection at your own risk using caution as you would any online encounter. For those curious about past missed connections, some have been made and when possible I’ll try to update when/if more are made.

“Dear PoPville,

On Tuesday evening 4/6, I was out in Columbia Heights for a walk with my dog Reagan. We were headed South on Sherman Avenue near Columbia Road when we came up to a dog traffic jam on the sidewalk. You and your pup were headed towards us while a couple tried to rein in their dog that was barking at both of ours.

As you passed by, you noticed I was wearing a Butler University hat and mentioned your friend went there. I very cooly responded “oh that’s neat” and then before we could keep talking my dog, Reagan, started barking over me as any solid wingman would do.

I walked away wishing we had been able to chat more, I quickly got that wish as we ran into each other again on 11th and you introduced me to Hank who doesn’t see very well at night. We chatted a bit and then parted ways before I could get your name, but both you and Hank seem like you would be great to grab a coffee with sometime!

Sincerely,

Reagan’s Dad”
