Missed Connections – Right Proper and the Park

Ed. Note: If any of these are you, please email [email protected] so I can put you in touch with OP. PoPville is not affiliated with either party, please proceed with any potential connection at your own risk using caution as you would any online encounter. For those curious about past missed connections, some have been made and when possible I’ll try to update when/if more are made.

“Dear PoPville,

I’m writing on behalf of two of my single friends. We were out for drinks at Right Proper on Tuesday April 13th at 7pm. Both of my friends, one male and one female (if it matters) thought our waitress was super cute. She had short hair and was wearing a crop top and high waisted pants. She might remember our group because my one interested friend (the lady) accidentally ordered 5 beers and no food. She also accidentally ordered a large amount of to-go cheese. As you can see, she is a keeper. The other interested friend is a straight white guy (unfortunately) and he ordered a reasonable amount of beer (also a keeper). We tried to leave their numbers, but there are no pens in this pandemic! Anyway, if she sees this, we thought we’d cover our bases and offer up a man and a woman (individually, not together…).”

“Dear PoPville,

Meridian Hill Park 7:15 4/20
You sat down on the bench next to mine, took off your shoes and studied with a highlighter, 20 something woman with dark hair and a red striped shirt on. I was with the Boston Terrier, wearing a green T-shirt. We exchanged a few glances but I overthought it until I saw you look back as you walked away. Would love to hear about your studies over a drink some time!”
