Everyone’s Favorite Brunch Spot Ankara is Rebranding as ala!

The much adored Dupont Circle Turkish spot, Ankara, has recently announced that it will be reopening as a Levantine concept ala, on March 1. The word itself means “a blend of all the colors” in Turkish, which is exactly what the concept hopes to accomplish.

Ala will offer a colorful experience that will welcome one and all to enjoy their elegant and flavorful offerings. Wondering what to expect from their rebrand? Ala promises Levantine inspired dishes, unique and flavorful cocktails, and wine from the likes of Armenia, Georgia, Israel, Turkey and more. The Levant region encompasses a variety of areas in the Southeast corner of the Mediterranean and their menu reflects this colorful diversity.

Their dinner concept, called “Ziyafet” — meaning feast — offers the opportunity to taste 2 cold dishes and 2 hot dishes per person for $39. To pair with the meal, a $19 drink add on allows you the chance to have 2 paired Levantine cocktails and 2 paired wine glasses throughout your ala dining experience. Plus, if the pairing doesn’t intrigue you, you can choose instead to enjoy unlimited house wine, beer and mixed drinks for the same $19. Most importantly, ala will still offer Bottomless Brunch! For $39, patrons can enjoy an unlimited sampling of small plates as well as bottomless drinks ranging from the classic Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas to unique house wine, beer and mixed drinks!

Check out their new menu for Dinner and of course, Brunch!

Their dinner items include their staple Lahmacun (with a new twist — eggplant!), Golden Cauliflower with Chermoula, Tahin and Pomegranate and a whole new variety of Charcuterie options. For brunch, their menu is adorned with everything from American classics like omelettes to specialty inspired Truffle Za’atar Fries or Chickpea Puree and Chard Flatbread.

Dining will be available beginning this Monday both outside on their heated patio as well as inside in their colorful atmosphere. They will also offer takeout and delivery 7 days per week. With the same team behind Ankara, ala commits to the same high-level of hospitality and an experience you will love!

Be sure to make your reservation before they book up! We cannot wait to hear what you think.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
