Your Afternoon Animal Fix – AdoPtville

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share for the regular fix please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. AdoPtville is run by a volunteer who compiles these pets weekly from local shelters.

Oliver is a sweet, energetic orange tabby looking for a forever home. He loves people and other cats. Oliver wants to be wherever you are and will sometimes become your shadow in his eagerness to be near you!

Although not a lap cat (yet), Oliver will snuggle up next to you on the couch or curl up nearby where he can see the humans.

Oliver’s favorite toys are a feather teaser and a robotic toy that rolls around for him to chase (and he will chase it for hours!). We’re pretty sure Oliver has spent more time playing with other cats and as a result, he will sometimes forget that humans aren’t cats and tackle you while he’s in “play mode” with a feline friend!

Oliver is a terrifically charming boy who has so much love to give. He just wants to be your boy and hang out with you. If you need a lifelong buddy to join your home, Oliver would love to be him! Apply now through City Kitties.

Sailor is a snuggly dog who enjoys the company of adults and children. She is eager to learn and please. She loves to snuggle on the couch right up next to her person and is very loving and affectionate. She enjoys her crate after she is settled in.

When at home Sailor prefers humans over other dogs, so she would like to be your one and only. She is learning the word sit and wants to learn some new words as well.

Apply today to bring this ray of sunshine into your life.

Finding a gift for moms can be difficult. Google “Mother’s Day gifts,” and you’ll scroll through endless lists of beauty products, candles and fuzzy robes. Sure, those are sweet, but sometimes it’s fun to surprise loved ones with something a little more, well, practical!

Here’s one idea: Give her a gift certificate for a home cleaning from Well-Paid Maids. It’s the perfect “thank you,” “I love you” or “you’ve got this” for any mom. She can schedule the home cleaning at her convenience and breathe easy knowing she has one less thing to do.

Our cleaners will take care of everything, including vacuuming and mopping as well as cleaning and dusting countertops, tables, mirrors, appliances and more. Sinks, toilets, showers and appliance exteriors also get a good scrub.
