From MPD: “The Third District is currently investigating a suspicious letter in the 1700 block of Columbia Rd NW. At this time, several roadways in the area are closed to pedestrians and vehicles. Please avoid the area.”

“Activity is involving a police car in front of Banfield Pet Hospital and Ace. Search dog and multiple detectives thoroughly inspected vehicle.”
