Your Afternoon Animal Fix – AdoPtville

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share for the regular fix please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. AdoPtville is run by a volunteer who compiles these pets weekly from local shelters.

Miss Kitty is an 11 year old purring machine who came to the Humane Rescue Alliance when her human could no longer care for her.

She is calm, a little shy, is good with her litter box, and loves to be petted. As she gets adjusted to her foster home, her sweet and trusting personality is starting to come out and she is happy to take a nap next to her foster mom.

She would prefer to be the only cat in the house. Check out a day in the life of Kitty in her video. If you’d like to meet the cat behind that Mona Lisa smile, contact Kitty’s foster mom at [email protected].

Nikki is a 10-year-old Husky who came to the Humane Rescue Alliance in January.

Nikki was rescued from a hoarding situation and went through a rehabilitation program with the ASPCA. She was transferred after graduating to HRA. Since her time with HRA, she’s been a very shy gal and a bit on the skittish/jumpy side. It’s necessary that you approach her slowly and quietly; therefore, she would do best in an adult only house (no apartments) that’s quiet. She’d do best with someone that can spend time with her and help her keep to standard routines such as going for walk and going to the bathroom outside.

She isn’t demanding at all; in fact, she is very content to sleep in her crate most of the day. She does enjoy her walks taking in all the smells and scenery. She’s a beautiful girl, and, underneath her gorgeous coat, is a dear, sweet dog looking for a new chapter to her senior life. Please let this last chapter be comforting, stimulating and positive. Her foster can be contacted at [email protected].

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
