“We are saddened to announce that we will be closing our doors on Sunday, November 29, 2020 due to a vacate notice.”

1781 Florida Ave, NW

Thanks to Tim for passing on the terrible news from Pleasant Pops:

“We are saddened to announce that we will be closing our doors on Sunday, November 29, 2020 due to a vacate notice. After a successful 8 years of business, it is with a heavy heart that we announce our departure from our flagship location. Thank you to the Adams Morgan community — a community that has so generously and graciously given us endless memories and a place to call home.

Although we are grief stricken by this unexpected news, we are determined to rise above the barriers and reemerge Pleasant Pops with a new, but familiar concept.

As we sorrowfully count down the days before closing our doors indefinitely, we are encouraging all members of our Pops Family to stop and bid your temporary farewells and stock up on your favorite goodies and treats! We will continue to honor punch cards and gift cards at our flagship location in the meantime. And with a new emergence we will continue to honor loyalty cards and gift cards.

We would like to take a moment to personally thank each and every single one of you for making these 8 years so special. Thank you for allowing us into your lives. For allowing us to be a part of your first dates. For allowing us to be a part of your weddings. For allowing us to watch our Pops babies grow into toddlers. For allowing us to send our Pops kids off to college. For allowing us to celebrate with you as you graduate college and jump into that dream job you’ve always wanted. For bringing your parents and grandparents by and sharing why we are part of your journey. For always being there and showing up. Whether you stayed in the area or moved away, the best part about Pleasant Pops has always been you. And it always will be. Thank you.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
