Your Afternoon Animal Fix – AdoPtville

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share for the regular fix please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. AdoPtville is run by two volunteers who compile these pets weekly from local shelters.

My name is Henry! I am the sweetest little sweet that ever did sweet!

I love my people and I get very attached to my person. It makes me the perfect little companion. I like keeping my person company no matter where or what we’re doing. I like golf cart rides and am good in the car. Toys are my favorite and I’m happy to play by myself but have I loved other dogs that will play with me too.

Because I get attached to my people and my home, new introductions need to happen very slowly and involve a lot of turkey.

Tom may be blind, but we assure you that he can nevertheless see into the depths of your soul- and he likes what he sees.

While Tom loves everyone he meets, he is somehow capable of making every single person that crosses his path feel like the most special and loved individual in the world. To meet Tom is to love Tom- and to feel loved by Tom.

We don’t know how Tom became blind, or how long he’s been blind, but he has adapted well and is able to adroitly navigate his surroundings. Most importantly, he is 100% capable of climbing onto the couch and into your lap for the most amazing cuddles you’ve ever experienced. He loves belly rubs, cheek rubs, paw rubs, head bonks, cuddles, and staring into your heart and soul while you talk to him about your day. He is a truly remarkable and loving cat.

In addition to being an incredible snuggle-muffin, Tom is also very playful! He will spend hours a day entertaining himself with toy mice, chasing after ghosties, and chirping at you to come play with him. He also loves to sit on the windowsill, listening to birds and squirrels race by.

Tom is FIV and FELV positive. To learn more about these common cat viruses click here and here.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
