Your Afternoon Animal Fix – AdoPtville

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share for the regular fix please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. AdoPtville is run by two volunteers who compile these pets weekly from local shelters.

Meet Kashi! As you can tell from her expression, Kashi is a kitty who knows her worth, and expects you to know it, too! This senior lovebug is super-affectionate, with a friendly and calm personality. Kashi gets along with dogs, so long as they have her same level of chill, but would do best as the only cat in the home. This laid-back and loving girl is approximately 15 years old and takes daily thyroid medication, but is otherwise in good health and excellent spirits, and still has many years of pets and snuggles to share. Say hi to Max, a 7 ½ year old, 70-lb. American English Coonhound looking for a family with whom he can spend his golden years. Max was adopted from a Richmond shelter a few years ago, but his adoptive family’s circumstances changed and now Max is in a great foster home, ready to find his forever family! Max’s foster mom says that he is good company – loving and laid back. He gets along with his foster dog brother, and loves to go on walks, lay out in the sun, or just take naps! Max would do best in a family with no or older children, as he can sometimes be easily startled. He will need regular exercise to keep a healthy weight and keep up his socialization, and would love a backyard to run around in! Handsome Max has lots of love to share.
