Prescription Chicken (storefront?) coming to Shaw

1819 7th Street, NW

Thanks to PPG for sending: “Looks like prescription chicken is replacing mason dixie in the 7th Flats in Shaw”

Mason Dixie closed here back in July.

Prescription Chicken’s website says:

“Valerie Zweig and Taryn Pellicone have a new nickname: The Soup Ladies.

The gals behind Rx Chicken™ started delivering soup to hungry bellies through the Washington, DC area in September of 2016.

Valerie and Taryn, in addition to being soup aficionados, are cousins who have strong hospitality backgrounds.

They channeled their love of all things chicken soup to create a business dedicated solely to churning out bowls of liquid gold. You can find their liquid gold in DC and Philadelphia and in grocery stores such as Whole Foods Market, King’s Food Markets and Balducci’s in Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, Maryland, Washington, DC, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and even into Connecticut”

Updates as we learn more.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
