Today’s Rental was chosen for the dog, obviously

This rental is located at U Street/Shaw. The Craigslist ad says:

“$1497 / 892ft2 – Private bedroom in great townhouse with amazing location by the metro (U St./Shaw)

(U St./Shaw) Private bedroom available in a 2 bedroom/1.5 bath townhouse with flexible lease start in August! The house is great and has a nice shaded patio area for grilling/chilling, recently renovated kitchen, and amazing location. Perks include:
– 2 min away from the U St. Metro
– Close proximity to so many restaurants/bars (Florida Ave Grill, Tacos El Chilango, American Ice Co. to name a few)
– 10 min to Trader Joe’s/Streets Market; less than 5 min to CVS and Whole Foods
– Easy walk to Logan Circle, Malcolm X Park, Columbia Heights
– Bedroom has room for a queen bed or smaller and a desk or two if you want a wfh nook (currently pictured with a queen, one vanity area, and one desk area)
– In-unit combo washer/dryer and dishwasher

Rent is $1497 not including utilities (landlord pays for water). The lease is month-to-month so there’s some flexibility, but would definitely prefer someone who could commit to at least 8-10 months. Female roommate preferred, you’d be living with me (27 yr old professional female) and my small dog (very chill and loves people). Shoot me a message about yourself if you’d like to hear more!”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
