Your Afternoon Animal Fix – AdoPtville

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share for the regular fix please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. AdoPtville is run by two volunteers who compile these pets weekly from local shelters.

Meet Cori! This youngster (about 6 months old) was found as a stray, but she is definitely in the market for a loving family to call her own. Cori LOVES people, and is a real lap cat and snuggler – she genuinely loves to be held! When not busy pursuing her career as a professional cuddler, Cori also loves to play with her toys, and is bound and determined to catch the red dot very soon. This lovely lady is just starting out in life and will provide some lucky home with companionship for many years to come! Find out more about adopting Cuddly Cori here.

Say hello to pretty Coco, a sweet senior looking for a fur-ever home to spend her golden years in. Coco is 14 years old and deaf, but that doesn’t stop her from being very attuned to her people – she responds to facial expressions and signals (smart pup)! Coco was recently rescued from a negligent situation and is now adjusting to being in a loving foster home. She’ll need a calm environment where she can continue to develop confidence and trust. Coco gets along well with other dogs and with older children. She loves to take slow walks and hang out with her people. She’ll need consistent grooming and regular veterinary care. Coco has the potential to be a wonderful and loving companion in a gentle home – could it be yours? Find out more about adopting Coco (and her other senior friends) here.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
