Great Garden Haul Vol. 7

Thanks to Mark for sending “from NoMa/Near Northeast. This is the first time I’ve grown trombetta squash. They are easy to grow and pretty pest resistant. If you pick them early they have the properties of a summer squash and if you let them stay on the vine they have the properties of a winter squash. The longest one measured 35”.

The harvest below is from a couple weeks ago. Sadly, after that haul, the squirrels and raccoons figured out how to get onto our roof to eat the rest of the peaches.”

Please send your hauls to [email protected] and let me know what neighborhood it was grown in. Entries will be accepted through Labor Day weekend.
