TaKorean reopening after 13-week closure this Tuesday

1212 4th Street, SE

From TaKorean:

“TaKorean, the DC based restaurant serving Korean & Latin American inspired bowls, salads, and tacos, announces its reopening after a 13-week closure due to COVID-19. TaKorean will open their locations at the acclaimed Union Market and at The Yards in the Capitol Riverfront Neighborhood on Tuesday, June 16th.

TaKorean temporarily closed on March 15th just days before wide-spread stay at home orders went into place across the region. “The safety of our team was the priority in the unique decision not to continue limited operations of take-out and delivery. We have a diverse team which predominantly lives in communities that are disproportionally affected by COVID-19, we felt very uncomfortable about the idea of our people using public transportation, being in the restaurant, and going home to their families – the risk was not worth operating in a world of so many unknowns” says Lenard. TaKorean paid employees over $40,000 in accrued leave in the weeks following the closure, assisted employees with unemployment claims, and other personal issues.

TaKorean will be relying on online ordering for both take-out and delivery which is now available at www.takorean.com. Delivery fees will be a flat $5.95 with no additional service charge or tipping screen. Safety for the team and guests is a critical priority for TaKorean. Information regarding TaKorean’s COVID-19 measures is available at www.takorean.com.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
