Barkada Wine Bar coming to old Menchie’s space at 12th and U Street, NW

1939 12th Street, NW

Thanks to Oswald for sending: “New signage on 12th St.: Will its bites match its bark?”

Back in January we learned that a:

“New Retailer’s Class “C” Restaurant with a wine bar, serving wines by the glass and the bottle, with a wine-focused cocktail list and light snacks. Applicant is also applying for a Sidewalk Café Endorsement with 15 seats. Total seating inside is 40 with a Total Occupancy Load of 49.” was coming to the former Menchie’s space.

Their website says:

“Barkada
– noun –
a group of friends

That’s us.

A group of friends
serving natural wine
just off U Street in DC.

Grab your barkada and join us.

Opening Summer 2020”

Menchie’s opened up here back in 2013.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
