The Duncan Dog Hotel Coming to Noma

22 M Street, NE

Thanks to Jonathan for sharing: “next to King Street Oyster Bar in NoMa”

Their website says:

“Inspired by the new approach to overnighting by hotels like Kimpton, W and Aloft, The Duncan Dog Hotel & Day Spa seeks to provide dogs and their owners first class service in a fun and sophisticated atmosphere. Located on M Street NE just off North Capitol, The Duncan plans to offer daycare, boarding and salon services for their customers.

Founded by Tucker and his cocker spaniel Duncan, The Duncan seeks to pair convenience with quality care for NoMa dogs. Tucker and Duncan have experienced the best and worst of dog care in DC and want to bring a new level of service to the industry.

Tucker formerly founded Gallagher & Graham Fine Spirits on 12th Street NW creating an refined atmosphere dedicated to customer service. He was know for his support of independent businesses including Ivy City distillers like Republic Restoratives and One Eight.

A resident of DC on and off since the 1980s, Tucker looks forward to the many changes the coming years have to offer. Seeing the dramatic increase in dog ownership in DC he seeks to capitalize on the trend by offering dog owners a safe place to leave their dogs while they work or travel.

Tucker recently moved to NoMa above Duncan Dog Hotel & Day Spa. He lives there with Duncan the Cocker and his little sister Izzy the Yorkie. (Tucker has promised Izzy that the next business will be named for her.)

NOW ACCEPTING CLIENTS FOR DOGWALKING IN NoMa.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
