Brookland’s Finest “will be opening back up for takeout and delivery next week!”

3126 12th Street, NE at Jackson Street, NE

From Brookland’s Finest:

“Hello, friends, family, and neighbors! We are excited to announce that we will be opening back up for takeout and delivery next week! You didn’t think we’d miss our six-year anniversary coming up in a month, did you? We will be offering a limited menu — think of it as a greatest hits of sorts — for online ordering and delivery through Uber Eats on Thursday and Friday from 4 pm – 9 pm, Saturday from noon – 9 pm, and Sunday from noon – 7 pm. We will also be offering booze and gift cards!

We would like to take a moment to thank those of you who have supported us during this time — whether it was a donation, an offer of help, or even just reaching out to check up on us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We couldn’t ask for better neighbors or better regulars. It was your support that helped us make the decision to reopen now, after closing down to gather our resources and make sure we would be able to open again to serve this community and support our wonderful staff. We’ve missed you all and are looking forward to seeing you again!

With you, your families, our employees, and their families in mind, here are a few of the ways we will be making the takeout and delivery process as safe as possible:

• We will be following guidelines set forth by the CDC, Mayor Bowser, and the National Restaurant Association (links to these are available on our website)
• All staff will wear gloves — changed between each task — and face masks
• Staff will also be regularly checked for fever and other symptoms, anyone who does not feel well will stay home
• A contactless method for pick up and delivery will be set up on the patio
•Every surface used will be sanitized frequently using a three-step process

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us via email ([email protected])
For any information and updated menus, keep an eye on our social media or hop on over to our website. We will post any modifications to hours, menu, delivery, etc… as soon as we know of them. Thank you again for your continued support, see you next week!”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
