“Shannan Troncoso, Chef/Owner of Brookland’s Finest, is happy to root for her home town team, the Kansas City Chiefs with a nod to all things barbeque. Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Troncoso will offer an all-day menu – at the bar and in the dining room – of brisket, smoked wings, baked beans and cole slaw this Sunday, February 2.
On offer for the day will be an appetizer of Smoked Whole Wings served with cole slaw ($12) and an entrée of Kansas City Style Beef Brisket made in partnership with Sloppy Mama’s BBQ, and served with baked beans, spicy greens, and cole slaw ($22). Individual sides will be available including Spicy Greens, Cole Slaw, Smoked Baked Beans, and Potato Salad, each for $5.25 each. The day’s drink special will be a beer and a shot combo of Altos Tequila or Cardinal Spirit Bourbon with a pint of Vanguard Red Ale ($12).
