From a press release:

“Bindaas, with two locations at 3309 Connecticut Avenue, NW, and within The Shops at 2000 PENN, 2000 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, is pleased to announce the introduction of a new collection of Regional Curry Bowls. Created by James Beard award-winning Group Executive Chef Vikram Sunderam, the new menu addition encourages guests to select one featured bowl filled with a tempting Indian feast, for an affordable $14. Each curry bowl showcases a collection of spices, which will raise the diner’s body’s core temperature, aiding in digestion and increasing blood circulation which helps one stay toasty in frigid temperatures. Bindaas’ new Regional Curry Bowls menu will be available at both locations, exclusively Monday through Saturday during the month of February.

Menu highlights include the Goan Fish Curry, Atlantic cod cooked in a sauce made with coconut, kashmiri chili, coriander seeds and tamarind, available on Mondays; Chennai Lamb Curry, South Indian lamb curry flavored with curry leaves, stone flower, star anise, available on Tuesdays; Bengali Shrimp Curry, shrimp cooked in a sauce flavored with onion seeds, fennel, fenugreek and mustard, available on Wednesdays; Parsi Lamb Curry, sweet and sour lamb with apricots and straw potatoes, available on Thursdays; Amritsari Chicken Makhani, tandoori chicken tikka simmered in a tomato-based sauce flavored with dry fenugreek powder, butter and cream, available on Fridays, as well as Hyderabadi Lamb Korma, aromatic lamb cooked in a cashew nut-based sauce flavored with saffron, cardamom and rose water, available on Saturdays.
