Your Carpool Driver Needs to Work Late? No Problem, You STILL Have a FREE Ride Home

It’s the 4:45 p.m. phone call ridesharing commuters hate to hear: “Hey, sorry to do this, but the boss has me working late tonight. You’re going to have to get another ride home.”

Once the sighs and growling are out of the way after hanging up, the commuter has to focus on the best and least expensive way of traveling home. Members of Commuter Connections’ Guaranteed Ride Home program have an automatic Plan B.

Four times during a registration year commuters can call on Commuter Connections to provide an emergency ride home for those times the driver bails, the car breaks down, or there’s a personal illness or crisis.

Members of the free Commuter Connections service find the program provides peace-of-mind and improves their commute, which is what Commuter Connections is all about. When you use a Guaranteed Ride Home, you save money, reduce stress and feel comfortable knowing that you can continue using an alternative way of travel to and from work without worry. You are also supporting a non-profit organization that helps the region lower traffic volume and shrink the size of commuters’ carbon footprints.
