Cool! Park View is getting an indoor Farmers Market starting Sunday January 12 inside Hook Hall!

3400 Georgia Avenue, NW

From the Park View Farmers Market website:

“Access to locally grown food should be easy. However, mass market food supply chains make it difficult for local farmers, growers, and producers to connect directly with consumers in pursuit of fresh healthy food.

WashFarm Markets, founded by the wife and husband team of Michelle and Chuck, was created to help solve that problem. The mission of WashFarm Markets is to connect local farmers, growers and producers to local consumers.

WashFarm Markets is proud to deliver its first farmers market, Park View Farmers Market on Jan 12, 2020.

Park View Farmers Market will feature the largest meat and seafood counter in Northwest DC. It will grow to more than 30 vendors who represent some of the best farmers, growers and producers in the region. Vendors are carefully curated for the dedication they demonstrate in connecting people to healthier food.

The venue at Hook Hall is one of the finest in the city, and the perfect backdrop for a farmers market. With beautiful outdoor space, grand indoor space and a full-service bar, it truly is a community gathering spot.

Michelle and Chuck are decades-long residents of Washington D.C. When not at the market or on a run, they enjoy cooking and spending time with their toddler and two kittens, Kitty Gaga and Catley Cooper.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
