Your Afternoon Animal Fix – AdoPtville

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share for the regular fix please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. AdoPtville is run by two volunteers who compile these pets weekly from local shelters.

Some might call me a gentle giant, others might call me a silent softie. Either way, they would be right. My name is Johnny and I am pretty easy to please. I like plushy toys, chilling out at home with my people, and leisurely (but not necessarily long) walks. As far as dogs go, I’m calm, cool, and collected. My charming good looks make it pretty easy to get people’s attention. A home with some awesome humans to snuggle up with and no other animals would be my happy place.

Like I said, I am pretty calm, so I am very easy to walk and follow directions well. As long as there is something comfy to lie on, I can easily hang out in my crate for a couple hours. I am loyal and love the people who love me, so I try really hard to be a good boy. I am also very smart and have mastered the art of opening doors.

Some of my superpowers include letting my people know when I need to use the bathroom and always doing it outside, magically and quietly appearing in whatever room you are in, and being very relaxed on car rides. If you’d like to come meet me, email my foster parent at [email protected]. As an added bonus, if you’re over 50, my adoption fee is waived as part of the Boomer’s Buddies program! Standard adoption procedures apply. Learn more here.

Gosh, I can’t believe it! My dear owner had to move and couldn’t take me along. But I’m a really adaptable kind of guy with kitten-like energy so I’m looking for a wonderful new home. I will happily curl up in bed with you and join you on the couch while you read. To show you that I get along with everybody, I can tell you that I’ve lived happily with children (young and older), adults, and even dogs and another cat. So, you see, I’m a great candidate for a forever home where I can look out windows and climb my cat tree. As an added bonus, if you’re over 50, my adoption fee is waived as part of the Boomer’s Buddies program! Standard adoption procedures apply. If you’d like to meet me, please contact my foster mom at [email protected]! Learn more here.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
