Your Afternoon Animal Fix – AdoPtville

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share for the regular fix please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. AdoPtville is run by two volunteers who compile these pets weekly from local shelters.

Meet handsome and unique Ivory! This 1-year-old stunning boy was found as a stray in Maryland, but he’s loving life as an indoor kitty and looking for his fur-ever home! Ivory is super-friendly; he loves people and he especially loves other cats! Ivory is young and playful, and will need a home with another friendly cat – or perhaps you can adopt another friend with him! This sweet fellow is a true social butterfly and can’t wait to bring all the cuteness to his new home – could it be yours? Find out more about adopting Ivory (and friend?) here.

This pretty lady is Willow, a 2-year-old terrier mix looking for a place to call home. Willow’s former owner had to give her up due to a domestic abuse situation, but Willow’s happy-go-lucky demeanor hasn’t changed! She is an active and friendly pup who loves fetch so much she *always* carries a ball in her mouth in case there’s a game waiting! Willow does well with other dogs and children, and ignores cats, so would fit into a home with or without other pets (she might even enjoy being the center of attention as an “only child”)! She loves hugs and snuggles, and is genuinely eager to please. Willow would do best in an active home, and will need some leash training. She weighs 53 lbs. and is energetic, so will need an owner who can work with her on channeling that energy – perhaps into running, agility, or (in case we didn’t mention she loves it) – fetch! This lovely pup will make someone an incredible companion. Find out more about adopting Willow here.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
