From a press release:

“On October 20, 2019, Spot of Tea will host a grand opening celebration of their first permanent location. After three years as a staple of the DC farmers market circuit, the local tea company has found its first year-round home inside the Streets Market located at 51 M St NE in NoMa. The grand opening celebration begins at 11 a.m. with one free drink for each of the first 50 customers, followed by a buy one get one free drink promotion for the rest of the day. Beginning October 21, their store hours will be 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week. They are currently soft opened with a limited menu from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

Upon reaching this exciting milestone, founder Joanna Weedlun said, “We are thrilled to bring fresh, made to order tea to the NoMa neighborhood. We’ve felt so warmly welcomed and supported by our local neighbors these past few weeks and we hope our celebration will reflect that same spirit of community through our BOGO offer; we want to encourage people to share the experience with a friend!”

Spot of Tea has outfitted the former Streets coffee bar with two BKON Craft Brewers, which allow for a high-quality tea brew in a fraction of the time. “With this cutting-edge, single cup brewing system, our product will be fresh and more consistent. You also get to watch your tea brew in the machine–it’s tea and a show,” said Andrew Maust, Head of Operations.

About Spot of Tea: Spot of Tea has been serving high-quality tea in DC since 2017. Spot of Tea uses the latest tea-brewing technology, unique tea blends, and local ingredients–not the standard artificial fruit syrups and powders, because they believe that both tea, and their community, deserves better.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
