Your Afternoon Animal Fix – AdoPtville

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share for the regular fix please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. AdoPtville is run by two volunteers who compile these pets weekly from local shelters.

Meet Persimmon! This big boy was found with a feral colony in WV, but Persimmon was clearly an indoor pet – he’s a total lovebug who adores his foster family’s other cats! Persimmon’s favorite activities are: eating (he’s a big boy, as noted), playing with his kitty friends, and laying in the sun. This handsome and well-behaved fellow is looking for a home with a friendly cat buddy he can play with, and humans he can love. Are you the right home for Persimmon? Find out more about adopting him here.

Hi, I’m Precious and I am cute and funny and a total sweetheart; my foster parents fell in love with me instantly and I’m hoping you will too! I had enucleation surgery a few weeks ago so I’m completely blind, but don’t feel bad for me! I’m a total champ and I’m not about to let that get me down. I go up and down stairs like a pro, am good at following people while on a leash and can memorize walking routes quickly. Fortunately, I don’t have a ton of energy in my mature age anyway so I still get around surprisingly well without my sight. When I need to go out I am sure to let you know with a few little “woofs” but other than that I am very quiet. I really like to sniff around and explore my environment! My foster parents think I will do best in a home where I can have a very consistent routine. If you’d like more information or assistance in scheduling a meet-and-greet please reach out to Anna and Spencer at [email protected] – you can also see more pictures of me here.

*** As an added bonus, if you’re over 50, my adoption fee is waived as part of the Boomer’s Buddies program! Standard adoption procedures apply.
