Today’s Rental was chosen for the shiny wood floors but the roof deck is nice too

This rental is located at Woodley Road near Connecticut Ave, NW. The Craigslist ad says:

“$1850 / 1br – 1 Bedroom Woodley Park Apartment — Across Street from Metro (Woodley Park)

I am leaving my wonderful Woodley Park apartment to move out of DC and I am looking for someone to take it over and sign a one year lease in September or October. The rent is $1850 per month — which is really low for the location and the apartment. The apartment is large — at about 700 square feet or more — and gets good sunlight from the large windows.

The apartment is in a well-managed building, and is located across the street from the elevator to the Woodley Park red line metro station. The location is ideal — Woodley Park is full great restaurants and shops, and it is easy to walk to other great areas of the city, like Adams Morgan. Utilities are included except for electricity and heating gas.

The apartment building rarely has availability because tenants rarely leave. I have a little bit (but not too much) flexibility in the start date.

The website for the building is located at: https://wcsmith.com/apartments/2701-connecticut-ave/. There are photos and floorplans of the apartments and the building amenities on the website.

The apartment building is cat friendly (and comfort dogs are allowed too), and the building has a laundry room, a roof deck, and bike storage. The people who manage the building onsite are great and quick to respond to any issue.

I’m including a few photos of similar units in the building (but not exact this unit), and I can send more photos and videos of the unit itself on request.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
