“The Yards will make a splash and transform into an island paradise with DC’s largest Tiki-themed block party on the boardwalk.”

From a press release:

“WHAT: Escape the heat this summer and get “lost” in a tiki bar themed event at The Yards. The Yards will make a splash and transform into an island paradise with DC’s largest Tiki-themed block party on the boardwalk. Featuring a live steel drum band, lawn chairs and oversized lawn games, tiki bars with fun instagrammable drinks, a misting station to cool down, an inflatable surfing simulator, an “underwater” photo booth, and other water-related activities, this event will make your Saturday feel like a vacation. Along with these interactive activations, a luau performance will take place and set the tone for a fun island vibe. The Yards merchants will participate by selling drinks and bites at the boardwalk kiosks. Find tickets here.

WHEN: Saturday, July 27th, 1-5pm

WHERE: Yards Park | 355 Water Street SE”
