“Seven Reasons reopens today (7/29) with revamped menu”

2208 14th Street, NW

From an email:

“Seven Reasons was forced to closed week after their neighbors suffered from a fire, which caused some damage to the restaurant.

On behalf of the Seven Reason team, we wanted to thank each of you who sent your good wishes, and let you know that they are re-opening their doors, Tuesday, July 30th.

Seven Reasons Exec. Chef, Enrique Limardo, has used this down time to work on several new dishes, which we are sure you’ll love. Starting tomorrow, in addition to their classic dishes such as the Octopus and Lentils, the Black Rice with Prawns, or the Seven Reasons croquettes; you’ll find delicious surprises.

Some of the new additions include: a Lamb Loin, with coconut curry sauce, “black paloapique”; a Bluefin Tuna Tartare with shiitake, chipotle and pepita cracker, a Crispy Sweet Potato Madness with spicy almond dressing and sea beans, and a Butternut Squash Cacao Tart with goat cheese and caviar vinaigrette.”
