NUBOXX coming to U Street

U Street between 14th and 15th Street, NW

Ed. Note: You can see your list of D.C.’s best gyms here.

NUBOXX’s website says:

“NUBOXX doesn’t look or feel like any other boxing gym. The space was designed around the NUBOXX mission: to be open, welcoming, and to create a strong, supportive community of boxers of all experience levels. The sport of boxing is not only about the fitness and conditioning, but it’s a skill set and an art.

Something that is built on with persistence and practice. At NUBOXX, this is at the forefront of our program and coaching. Calories torched in each session are secondary.

The Nuboxx Difference

Beautiful, clean and welcoming boutique setting.
Small classes capped at 12 participants, allowing for greater attention and focus on form.
Our dedicated and experienced coaches explain how and why we throw specific punches, so clients understand the art of the sport.
The NUBOXX program is more than hitting a heavy bag. We ensure clients get the full boxer training experience.”

NUBOXX also has a studio at 701 Second Street, NE.

They’ll be right next door to the Solidcore:
