“My name is Karin Sellers and I would like to invite you to the GRAND OPENING of Here’s The Scoop Ice Cream Dessert Shop. The ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for 12:00 pm on June 29, 2019. Here’s The Scoop is located at 2824 Georgia Avenue, NW. We feature a variety of Ice Cream choices along with Cakes, Cookies, Cobblers, Puddings, and Pies! Something for all to enjoy!
Our theme is “Bringing The Community Together One Treat At A Time”. We are most proud to announce that we were awarded $50,000 in DMPED Great Street Grant funding in 2018 which was monumental in the build out of the store. The journey to this point has been tiring but enjoyable all at the same time. From meeting many government officials, to navigating the grant process, exploring the new District of Columbia Regulatory Affairs and surviving the Department of Health, has been ALL worth it!
