Your Afternoon Animal Fix – AdoPtville

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share for the regular fix please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. AdoPtville is run by two volunteers who compile these pets weekly from local shelters.

Meet Beautiful Britta! This sweet 6-year-old’s owner recently passed away, so she’s looking for a new home to call her own! Britta is a very outgoing and affectionate lady, who loves her people and loves to be a part of the action. She gets along well with other cats (with the proper introductions, of course – she’s a lady, after all) and will make someone an amazing companion! Britta is healthy, and is up to date on all vaccinations. This pretty girl is just looking for the right home to brighten – is it yours? Find out more about adopting Britta here or email [email protected]

Fannie Mae, (Mae-Mae as her foster mom calls her), is a sweet lady who has lots of love to give, seeking a new human to spoil her and enjoy life together. Fannie Mae’s human passed away, but fortunately this resilient girl is adapting well; she is starting to play with toys, wagging her tail and follows foster mom everywhere. Fannie Mae is an 8 year old, 24 pound, Dachshund/Beagle mix. She is current on her core vaccines and bloodwork and recently had her teeth cleaned. She gets along with cats and other dogs and she would be best in a home with older children. Please consider giving this sweet girl the life she so deserves. You couldn’t ask for a better pet who undoubtedly will become your devoted new best friend. If you have some room & love in your heart and home for Fannie Mae, email [email protected]

Volunteer Note: If you adopt one of these pets or already are the lucky owner of a pet, please consider planning for the unexpected.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
