Thanks to all who passed on from Kyirisan:

“It is with great sadness that we announce Kyirisan will be closing, our last service will be Thursday April 18th. Thank you for welcoming us to the neighborhood and sharing so many moments with us these past three years. Come on by to grab one last order of wings, scallops, and duck!

It has truly been a pleasure.

Please come visit American Son, Chef Tim Ma’s restaurant inside the Eaton Hotel.

Washingtonian reported:

“There’s no secret that there’s something wrong,” says Ma. “I held out as long as I could but its time. The neighborhood just isn’t there yet. I think it will be. There are all kinds of things that are great about it. I just think you need more staying power than a small guy like me.”
