Your Afternoon Animal Fix – AdoPtville

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share for the regular fix please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. AdoPtville is run by two volunteers who compile these pets weekly from local shelters.

Meet Lucky! This distinguished senior gentleman was found abandoned in a Virginia neighborhood, and the neighbors took care of him until winter set in! Now Lucky is hoping the luck of the Irish will help him find his fur-ever home this St. Patrick’s Day. Lucky is estimated to be about 15 years old and is in excellent health; he is very loving with his people, and is a talkative kitty who loves to be petted, and will purr his approval of your work! Lucky doesn’t get along with other male cats, but would likely do well with a gentle female cat companion (cat-panion?). He is gentle and sweet, and will be a wonderful addition to someone’s home – is it yours? Find out more about adopting this handsome fellow here.

Say hello to Pippin! This handsome lad recently lost his home when his owner became too ill to care for him, but as you can see, he’s still smiling! Pippin is a friendly and sweet dog, who gets along with other dogs, and cats, too! He is actually a registered emotional support dog, and has excellent manners – he doesn’t bark, but will gently let you know he needs to go out. At 12 years old, this 20-lb. terrier mix (he still needs to gain a few pounds) will make an incredible pet in the loving, nurturing home he deserves. Will happy Pippin be your St. Patrick’s pup? Find out more about adopting Pippin here.
