“On Sunday, February 10, 2019, The Chinese New Year Parade will take place in the District of Columbia. In conjunction with this event, there will be street closures that motorists should take into consideration:

The following streets will be posted as Emergency No Parking for the event from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm:

I Street between 5th and 8th Street, NW
8th Street between I and G Street, NW
G Street between 8th and 7th Street, NW
7th Street between G and H Street, NW
H Street between 6th Street and 8th Street, NW

The following streets will be closed from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm:

H Street between 6th Street and 7th Street, NW
I Street between 5th Street and 6th Street, NW

The following streets will be closed for the parade from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm:

I Street between 5th and 9th Street, NW
8th Street between I and G Street, NW
G Street between 9th and 7th Street, NW
7th Street between F and K/Massachusetts Avenue, NW

All street closures and listed times are subject to change based upon prevailing or unexpected conditions.

The public should expect parking restrictions along the street and should be guided by the posted emergency no parking signage. All vehicles that are parked in violation of the emergency no parking signs will be ticketed and towed.”
