Shots of the Lunar Eclipse last night. Luckily I was granted access to a seventh floor balcony at @thelinehotel after I got off work that had the perfect vantage point. It took about 10 minutes in the freezing cold trying to get the right exposure settings to capture the details of the moon. Once I found the right formula, I watched in awe as the moon was filled with vibrant shades of red and orange. The constant gusts of wind made it extremely difficult to get a sharp and steady shot, but I hooked my backpack to my tripod, and made a human shield, while decreasing the shutter speed as low as possible. My first attempts came out horrible, but persistence pays off #lunareclipse2019 #lunareclipse #washingtondc #nightphotography #acreativedc #sonya7iii #sony55210 #freezing #persistence #popville #natgeo #natgeotravel
