Cleveland Park and Shepherd Park Target’s are opening April 7th – Hiring “Approximately 110 Team Members”

3505 Connecticut Ave, NW

From Target:

“Target will celebrate the grand opening of its newest Washington, D.C. small-format stores, in Cleveland Park and at Georgia & Eastern, on April 7, 2019. Both stores will begin hiring for more than 100 total team members at events on Feb. 8-9.

The Cleveland Park store is located at 3505 Connecticut Ave. NW, across from the Cleveland Park Metro stop, and will host hiring events at the Omni Shoreham Hotel. The Georgia & Eastern store is located at 7828 Georgia Ave. and will host its hiring events at the Montgomery College Cultural Arts Center.

These two new stores mark Target’s fifth and sixth small-format stores in the greater D.C. area. Nationwide, Target has prioritized opening small-format stores to serve guests in urban areas, dense suburban neighborhoods and near college campuses – areas where a full-size store wouldn’t typically fit.

“As we expand our presence across D.C., we also remain committed to providing meaningful opportunities for team members to build and develop valuable career skills. We are looking to hire more than 100 talented team members to help us provide an exceptional shopping experience for local guests at Target’s new Cleveland Park and Georgia & Eastern stores,” said Jason Ramey, D.C. district team leader, Target.

Interested candidates are encouraged to visit Target.com/careers now to apply in advance of the job fairs, and can also apply in person. Store leaders will conduct interviews with applicants and discuss Target’s dynamic, team-oriented culture.

At the same time, Target will be hiring for team leadership positions at other stores in the D.C. metro area during the Cleveland Park job fair.

In addition to market competitive wages, Target also offers various education benefits, such as tuition and GED reimbursement, to support team members’ continuous learning as they build skills for a lifetime. This investment in the team will allow Target to continue to recruit and retain strong team members and provide an elevated experience for its guests and in the communities it serves.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
