This new family-owned, fine-casual Mexican restaurant serves traditional cuisine including tacos, enchiladas, pozole, gorditas, carnitas, salsas, moles and more. Tortillas are handmade in-house, grinding their heirloom corn that comes from Oaxaca, Mexico. There is a carefully crafted tequila and mezcal menu and cocktails.

The festive dining room includes traditional tiles, Mexican photography by Kelly Puleio, Mexican artwork, a copper bar and warm woods. Diners can enjoy watching tortillas being made in an open kitchen and seeing Chef David Perez at work. Takoma Park native, Carolina McCandless, is Director of Operations. Come spring, a sidewalk dining area will be available for diners to enjoy.
