4200 Wisconsin Avenue, NW at Van Ness Street
From American University:
“I am pleased to share with you some new developments regarding the AU-owned property at 4200 Wisconsin Avenue, NW. The university has signed leases with both Surfside restaurant and the Broadcasters Child Development Center, local businesses that will help strengthen AU’s ties to the D.C. community.
As was announced previously, Surfside restaurant will open their third D.C. location this spring in the space formerly occupied by Firelake Grill. The Broadcasters Child Development Center (BCDC) will also move in during the coming months.
BCDC was created in 1980 by and for employees in the broadcasting industry and provides full-day care for children of working parents, from infancy through preschool. AU made strategic decisions to partner with these local tenants that are from and will contribute to the local D.C. community.”
