Your Afternoon Animal Fix – AdoPtville

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share for the regular fix please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. AdoPtville is run by two volunteers who compile these pets weekly from local shelters.

While it’s clear from her photo that Miss Fluffy is not the biggest fan of the pawpurrazzi, she is a HUGE fan of chin scratches and pets, and would make a gentle home an amazing and loving companion! Fluffy is a shy but sweet long-haired beauty rescued from a life on the rough kitty streets of Baltimore. Fluffy is about a year old, and is healthy and up to date on all needed vaccinations. Because she is young, she will grow in confidence with the right home, and her love of affection is a definite plus! Fluffy would likely do well in a home with mellow cats to show her the way, or as a one-and-only love bug. She will probably do best with older children, and would need to be tested with dogs. This former stray has incredible potential – won’t you consider helping her reach it? Find out more about Fluffy and adopting her here.

Hey, everybody! Meet Sir Brownie, an Anyone’s Guess All-American Mixed Breed (a/k/a Mutt) rescued as a stray in South Carolina, now living with a loving foster family and looking for his forever digs! Sir Brownie is about a year old, and has an energetic, playful and loving personality! At a little more than 50 pounds, Sir Brownie isn’t technically a lap dog, but that doesn’t stop him! He loves to snuggle and chill with his people. He’s being fostered with other dogs, and does great with his canine buddies, but due to his size and energy level would probably be best with older children. Sir Brownie has been working hard on leash manners – he is housetrained but still a youngster, so does best in the crate when not supervised. This handsome fellow will be a great companion for an active home, where he gets plenty of exercise but also lots of love! Find out more about adopting this royal mutt here.
