“Dear PoPville,
I was grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s at Union Market. We parked on the lower basement level. There is a rancid smell not unlike 1000 soiled baby diapers in the Arizona dessert sun. I vomited in the garbage can. The patrons next to me pulled their t-shirts over their mouths like kids playing masked robber. It harkens the scene from Silence of the Lambs when Clarice just couldn’t take it anymore.
I called the store and spoke to the manager. He mentioned that it’s a known issue with the Management Co. due to some grease trap if an adjacent restaurant. I told him that the smell made me want to toss out the my bag of groceries.
Help!”
