Your Afternoon Animal Fix – AdoPtville

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share for the regular fix please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. AdoPtville is run by two volunteers who compile these pets weekly from local shelters.

Hi there! I’m Tucker! Who says only kittens like to play? I am 8 years old, but I love to play and be around all the activity at home. I would probably enjoy living with another friendly cat, but I also love to snuggle with humans. I am a curious and social guy, and I Iove to give and receive affection. I promise to fill your heart and home with purrs, whisker kisses, and silly activity! Oh- cool fact- I’m polydactyl! That means there’s even more of me to love! To learn more about me, check me out my profile and the Humane Rescue Alliance’s website.

Hey hey! I’m Bino and I’m the dog you’ve bee looking for! I am a very polite 5 year old boy who already knows all my basic manners! I love treats and I’m always happy to show of my sits and downs if you’ve got something yummy to give me. I’m a really great guy- I like other dogs and I have lived with kids too. I am a big guy, weighing in at 75 lbs, so I’ll need a family that can take me on lots of walks and help me get back in shape.

Overall, I’m a very happy guy and I love to chill with my people and take a nap on the couch or go out and play. I am currently in HRA’s Prison Pups program at the Pautuxent Institution in Jessup, MD, where I am living with and being trained by two select inmate handlers.

If I sound like the perfect guy for you, please email Linda at Lhudson@humanerescuealliance.org to schedule a time to meet.  You can also learn more about me on the Humane Rescue Alliance’s website.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
