Sweet – Another Carpe Librum Bookstore has opened!

5300 Wisconsin Ave, NW

Ed. Note: Another Carpe Librum opened in Union Station back in April.

“Dear PoPville,

I’ve been really bummed about Carpe Librum’s Farragut location closing, so you can imagine my excitement when I stumbled across a new location in the Mazza Gallerie last night! The man working there told me they’d been open for a few weeks and are planning on making it a permanent location. Their posted hours are Mon-Fri 10am-8pm, Sat 10am-7pm, and Sun noon-6pm. They told me they are always accepting book donations during business hours!

There was no obvious signage outside, nor is the location listed yet on Google maps or the Carpe Librum website, so I wanted to make sure everyone knew it was there. I would have had no idea had I not seen it while shoe-shopping on the lower level of T.J. Maxx.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
