All-Purpose Pizzeria Opening Across from Nats Park Tomorrow!

79 Potomac Ave, SE looking towards Salt Line

From a press release:

“All-Purpose Pizzeria, located in Capitol Riverfront at 79 Potomac Ave SE, will open on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. Initial operating hours will be Sunday – Thursday from 4pm to 10pm and Fridays & Saturdays from 4pm – 11pm.

The restaurant features indoor and patio seating, bar seating as well as a rooftop bar which is expected to open in June. Beverage highlights include Italian Water Ice-inspired frozen cocktails Luigi, a vodka-based lemon cocktail, and Mario, a tequila-based grapefruit cocktail. Optional floats will also be available for frozen cocktails. Draft cocktails include a Negroni and the Shaw location’s popular Black Manhattan. Wines on draft include a rosé and a bianco from Scarpetta and the menu features twelve draft beers from local and regional breweries.

Dishes will include spuntini like Whipped Ricotta with Calabrian chili honey, toasted almonds, and fried rosemary, and Spring Asparagus with whipped robiola, toasted sesame, lemon and salsa verde. Delectable antipasti selections include a Pizzeria Salad which is a fun play on a pasta salad from Chef Mike Friedman’s childhood in New Jersey, Fried Mozzarella with grated parm and marinara, Crispy Arancini Verde with basil pesto and lemon aioli, and beef and pork Tomato-Braised Meatballs with tomato ragu, stracciatella, and scallions.

In addition to seafood dishes inspired by the restaurant’s waterfront views and the Amalfi coastline, the menu will include the Apollo – a roasted porchetta pizza with caciocavallo cheese, broccolini, sweet peppers and sesame, as well as the Rockaway with New Jersey clams, smoked bacon, parm fonduta, lemon & breadcrumbs. Don’t worry – Shaw classics like the Buona, the Sedgewick and the Sicilian Marinara are all headed to the Capitol Riverfront location as well!”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
