“The Third District is currently investigating a shooting that occurred in the 1800 block of 7th Street, NW. The victim has been transported to a local hospital with a non life threathing injury. The lookout for the suspect is a black male wearing a ski mask and dark clothing. Should anyone have any information that can assist the investigation please call our Command Inforamtion Center at 202-727-9099 or text a tip to 50411.”

“Members of 5D responded to a call for service for a shooting at 8th & Monroe St NE as well as a Man with a Knife. When units arrived on the scene they found a 19 y/o male suffering from a single gunshot wound to the abdomen. The victim reports that he was shot in reference to a robbery. However, MPD is investigating additional information.
