Today’s Rental is an “Amazing Room In Adams Morgan”

This rental is located at 1673 Columbia Road, NW. The Craigslist ad says:

My huge room in a two bedroom, one bath unit on an upper floor of the Calverton Apartments is available. It is an amazing unit with a lot of natural light, hardwood floors, a massive bathroom, two very large storage closets, great and responsive building manager and staff, and rent includes air/heat! Gas, electric, and cable/internet are not included. Laundry is on site, front desk attendant in the evenings (very secure building), secure package delivery, and wonderful building tenants. I can’t say enough good things about this apartment. Across the street is Potters House and Federalist Pig (if you haven’t tried this BBQ place you should!).

Walking distance to the Columbia Heights (Green/Yellow Line) Metro and on the same block as the Circulator that takes you to the Woodley Park (Red Line) Metro stop. Near many bus lines that take you nearly anywhere you may want to go in DC, including the 42, H lines, S lines, 96, and L2. Not far from U street either! Grocery stores nearby include Safeway, Harris Teeter, and Yes! Organics. And of course by lots of Adams Morgan destinations.

I’m very sad to be leaving my wonderful roommate and her sweet cat. Sadie (the cat) is the third furry ‘roommate’ who loves everyone and will win over your heart. Your possible new roommate is a wonderful woman, mid twenties, and works a typical M-F job near downtown with the occasional telework days.

We are looking someone to take over my lease starting no later than February 1st, possibly with a move in date as early as January 28th.
