Your Afternoon Animal Fix – AdoPtville

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share for the regular fix please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. AdoPtville is run by two volunteers who compile these pets weekly from local shelters.

“Hi, everybody! I’m Lucky Luna, and I’m excited to find a wonderful fur-ever home in time for the holidays! I’m a petite, soft 8-month-old girl, with beautiful green eyes and cool markings! Sadly, I was given up by my family as I wasn’t fitting in, but since I’m so young, I’m ready to adjust to my new queendom! We torties are known for our unique and pronounced personalities. There’s even a term for this: TORTITUDE! I have it, don’t you worry. I am a curious, chatty and determined little girl who wants a special relationship with my person. I’d be happy as your “one and only” or with another accepting pet who won’t be threatened by my presence and won’t resent me. Find out more about me and apply to adopt me here, or send an email to [email protected]

Hello there! This is Ruth, a 3-year-old Labrador Retriever mix on her way to DC to find her new family, thanks to Lucky Dog Rescue! Ruth is past the puppy shenanigans stage, but will still need regular exercise to stay happy and healthy! Ruth is looking forward to hiking through fall leaves, checking out the dog park, and maybe even becoming your running partner. She’s probably great at fetch, too, and she’s definitely good at snuggles! Ruth is heartworm positive. Please consider adding this goofy and wonderful pup to your family! More information about Ruth can be found at Lucky Dog’s website, where you can also apply to adopt her!
