Petco Sales Start in Cleveland Park, Closing January 23rd to make way for Target; Artisan Lamp closing after 35 years down the street

3505 Connecticut Ave, NW

Back in November we learned a Target would be replacing Petco in Sam’s Park & Shop. I stopped in on Saturday and was told that their last day would be January 22nd. I got 20% off cartridge replacements for my fish tank filter. Updates on Target as they release more info.

Ed. Note: Not all is dim in Cleveland Park, I’ll be posting about Al Volo‘s opening in a half hour.

But in other closing news – the Artisan lamp shop is also on the way out (thanks to Sarah and Lindsey for sending):

In addition to antique lighting, we have antique bronzes, paintings, sculptures, art glass, candelabra, antique tables, and other display pieces.”

That means Well-Paid Maids is now offering weekend cleanings! The goal is to make your life as easy as possible. If your weekday schedule is too hectic or you work from home, this is for you!
