Your Afternoon Animal Fix – AdoPtville

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. AdoPtville is run by two volunteers who compile these pets weekly from local shelters.

“Do you need a big orange kitty to conduct music in your heart? If so, Maestro is your boy! Maestro is a sweet 11-year-old tabby boy who has a raspy ‘old-man’ meow, loves to be brushed, and seeks affection whenever he’s awake. Even as the older, wiser feline, Maestro enjoys a good playtime session – he likes to know where his foster mom is anytime she’s home and will meow until he receives a response, followed by prancing over for attention. He would do best in a quiet home, without young children. Maestro is OK with other cats, he seems to prefer older/senior felines, but is scared of dogs, and is more interested in attention from his human(s) rather than other furry creatures. If you are interested in adding this affectionate gent to your home, please contact Four Paws at [email protected]

“It’s Miller time! Miller is 7-year-old, 8-pound mix of Toy Manchester Terrier, Min Pin and Chihuahua (our best guess). Though he looks like a tough guy, Miller is actually extremely affectionate, snuggly and loves to be held. Miller gets along well with the other dogs (and turtles, at least the ceramic kind) in his foster home. If you are interested in adopting Miller, please email Linda at Doodle Dawgs Small Dog Rescue at [email protected]

“These 4 adorable kittens hail from a shelter in West Virginia, but now are living large in DC and can’t wait to find their families! There’s one boy (Rorschach) and three girls (Domino, Phantom, and Pidge). They’re all friendly, cuddly, and very playful. Take them home and they’ll be purring in your arms in no time, then leap off of you to go play! If you’re interested in adopting them, you can learn more here.
